Get Away Weekend @ Motutapu Island! :D

For those that don't know - Motutapu Island is not some kind of tropical island for tourists, far from it. It's near empty of civilisation. There's no rodents or pests...
This

projects
happens
and comes to life.

okay it's not the first time i've been to Motutapu but im excited all the same. (Especially since i'll be staying overnight!! XD) I use to be one of the leaders of a club called "Interact" (smaller branch of the Rotaract Club) in college where I had to lead a group of youths - called "Interacters" - for tree planting events to Motutapu. Last time i was here it was like 2009 -coming back brings back memories of my college years whenever i see this beautiful island. (Im feeling old yeshh.... btw this is random, but i had my first experience of riding on the back of a truck on one of the Womble trips back then!! XD)
...
So. Some of my friends and I will be staying overnight on saturday... (hopefully in cabins...not dormitries). I keep imagining i'll be in some large wooden hut thing - where the walls and ceiling are made entirely of wooden logs. And inside there will be like a fireplace... a large rug and sofa... people around me will be chatting but i'll be lying on a big beanie near the fireplace sipping hot chocolate (or mocha)...while outside snow will be falling..(?!!)... feeling relaxed and happy. :)
....omg that will be a dream... Snowing will never happen where i live! (in aux, we get HAIL. LAME.>_<) Gonna be planting trees on both sat and sunday i think... Just hope it doesn't rain... but if it does, then BRING IT ON!!! >:D

Update after the trip:
- It rained. T.T
- My fantasy cabin wasn't so far from reality after all! We did sleep in a place that wasn't a dormitry. There was a small fire place, there were sofas.. instead of snowing, it was raining... and i did sip hot chocolate that night. :D
- Planted trees on sunday. Spent the whole of saturday tramping ( in the rain, to the top of Rangitoto summit and to Motutapu Island - they're kinda joined together) and exploring!! (bomb shelters and journeyed through the underground tunnels...like rats lol) The ceiling of the tunnels were around 1m high and long... claustrophobic much? :p
- Nacho's for dindins. Played mafia= it's awesome when you play it with many ppl. Some were really good actors... lol @Ryan: in the first round "Believe me, im a citizen" - we questioned him several times and he kept saying "im a citizen, im a citizen"... when in fact he turned out to be MAFIA. Second round of the game, he got questioned again and this time he defended himself by saying "believe me,, im not mafia im not mafia" Lolllllll. XD A cute kid joined us in the Mafia game. The reaction the kid made when his father approached him in the middle of the game saying "It's 8:40pm now, bedtime.." was so cute. (His character eventually got killed off, and he went off to bed not too late XD)
- The deck outside the cabin had an amazing view! My friends and i sat outside to watch the final moments of the sunset... :) Also, the water on the beach wasn't even 10m away from the where we slept... NOT SCARY coz the beach was too beautiful to be scared of a random tsunami hitting us lol. :P
- Will post up the Rotaract trip photos soon... (along with the rest of the other photos taken earlier this year). :))

A Secret Gathering
Alliv's 22nd bday party invitation was the most intriguing, coolest and mysterious invitation i've ever seen...

Party Theme: Black and Gold, and the dress code after Neyo's Champagne Life MV.
SOMEONE and I were spose to go together to the bday party. Alas that person couldn't get out of work and bailed on me 2 nights before...(AGAIN.)
I arrived at the party early and stayed in the car for a while- absolutely dreading the socialising part i know i would have to do lol.
... which ironically the whole 7 hours of the party was what i was spent doing lol! :P Normally, the going by myself wouldn't be a problem if i knew more friends were going....Unfortunately i only knew one person at the party- Alliv, the bday girl! (...A.W didn't go too. =.=""")
The first thing that hit me at the party, aside from Alliv giving me a hug in the darkness, was this bright white glowing table situated on the deck. The glowing table thing was actually a shoe display stand which Alliv bought off TradeMe and transformed into a bar table...

(The glowiness also attracted many mozzies and moths.. where one landed in someone's glass of wine...and drowned...............
- "The sad short life of a bug" someone pointed out admist the silence.LOL.)
So...
I had to force myself to socialise with people that were all pretty much speaking/dressed like adults...Serious subjects...Eek. (Hey! Im not much of a talker aite? And giving small talk, when you have nothing else to talk about, is the most tedious thing on earth! :p)
The good thing was that most/nearly all the people there were arts students! I managed to find a group of film/politics/psychology graduates to chill with...
R.- the "Ninja Turtle" ha. An arts/law student. What a debator. Bad at snap.
The Two Bens - One a film/drama student ( I kept on getting teased by this Ben...=="""), the other Ben a psychology masters student- and also a tutor for psych108.
N. - politics. Nice guy and reminded me of the Barney dude from HIMYM........ (not really?).
and then mingled with the rest of the peeps there:
S. and ???- Part of AMUN. The second girl was a mutual friend of Jojo's who i've only met once during ss... woah she recognized me in my new glasses too! 8)
J.- JOSH-EEL- engineer/bcom. HE PLAYS MAHJONG HOLY SHEBA!! XD
H.- ("call me Wang")- engineering. I met him the same time as J. (they were in a debate with Ben (Psycho one) about the investment decisions in NZ) and I noticed that H's face and arms were bright red which was strange coz he was only drinking from a mini pump water bottle...................which turned out to be a vodka mix. O_O
(Apparantly he bought a full bottle of pure vodka into the party...ppl that saw it thought the bottle contained "water" haaahaaa.
Note: THE ASIAN FLUSH. He kept on casually sipping from his "water" bottle for the rest of the night...LOLLL..)
L. and ???- what party ppl. Both got totally drunk and started the clubbing idea.. which didn't happen in the end coz they were so high while singing K.
Sometime during 9-10ish i felt tired...of the "small talking" or having to listen to the rowdy/drunkish peeps that were hardcore debating over current events/other random stuff. No doubt everyone who debated were passionate in their area of expertise/opinions and what they believed and wanted to prove to the other. :) They were some however, won't name any, who were just deliberately trolling around and started arguments for fun....HUH....==
"Mature"/Random Convos i came across the night:
-Debates over the prison systems in NZ. NZ gov wants less prisoners, ?? wants more prisoners...some contradiction occurred here...?? O_O
-How NZ should invest more. i.e NZ companies should invest more into banks. Consumers should save more? OR should that be spending more? To stimulate the economy?? ....O_O
- China has a new religion going on which is brainwashing citizens into thinking that if they pray really hard their physical injuries will heal themselves... and therefore they wouldnt require a doctor. :S
- FTVMS graduates rating movies. I thought Avatar and I am Number Four were OK movies. (...Alex Pettyfer is hot! XD) Ben (film) recommended watching My Wedding and Other Secrets, it's been overrated by the press, but i still want to watch it!
- Interesting UoA lecturers: A Law lecturer who has won a NZ mind game show, occupation: a judge, and also has his own webpage dedicated to LOTR. Another lecturer in Philosophy who apparantly debates with himself openly during lectures LOL I CAN IMAGINE THAT HAHAHAHAHHAAAAAA...
- Smoking/Party Pills consumption. In the park. Dodgy.
- Spookers and the Wall of Shame.
- AMUN/ UNYANZ work/conferences.
- Iphone 4G superior-ness.
On contract:600 texts/110 calling mins/900pxts/3GB broadband- $80 p/month for 6months then goes down to like $20 a month... Worth it. (Nearly everyone i saw at the party had an iphone and on plan!)
Turns out small talking was the least of my problems that night. Afterwards was all goods tho. (The wine/coke helped me relax ha...)
Nice buzzzzy feeling, not a high, but enough to make me converse more, energized (to want to go clubbing lol!) and enjoy the party atmosphere. X)
INSTEAD of clubbing, we spent the rest of the night singing K, playing poker and snap. (>>>ASIAN SNAP VERSION RULEZ<<<) The scores for K were 100 EVERYTIME. J, H and i formed a trio and sang Thriller... For a song so famous and catchy we got the timing off! ><"

I dont want to make the end of this blog entry sound like another "i've overcome a problem and learnt how to deal with it and all that cheesy stuff" BUT i have to say im very glad i had a chance to get out of my comfort zone and familiarise myself in an environment i wouldn't have normally bothered..;). For friends, I guess socialising for nearly a straight 7 hours at a party can be FUN too! :))
P.S Transport wasn't much of a problem last night.

Friday 7: Gayness
Ftvms101 Lect:

Hm... Interesting...
Not.
Came in late. During the break turned around and noticed ... M.T was like 2 seats away. Lol! Caught up briefly (yay) and lol he fell asleep in the last 20mins of the lecture lolll.
And... I learned he does ZUMBA at home... Wow... Didn't know he had the dancing spirit in him lol.

there were these men setting up wooden boards and lights. looked kind of ZUMBA-ish to me loll)

So.. went to gym instead!

Had sushi. Yum and healthy. :D
O man he's such a 八卦猪... which makes hanging around him kinda fun..?!
We discussed our future.. cough. well mainly, /my/ future. O.o
Question: Do I(we) really want a normal life? From birth, attend kindy/ primary/ intermediate, college, uni- learn what I need to know for my future career, do my chosen career(?), marry, have kids, live to an old age and die...?
That's Ian's and my idea of normal. And i must say, how boring that is to live, because it's all so planned out- sooo.. idealistic, but logical at the same time.
He hates commerce. I do too. How boring. That's why I'm doing arts.
BUT commerce is USEFUL- for getting jobs. ( wooo high demand )
So he suggested I do a Ba/BCom conjoint.
It's not too late and I will get "the best of both worlds".
I also seem to contradict my self A LOT (cant help it... ==) and several heated discussions arose from it..
As a last resort to help my future-
He warned me about his answer... i pushed his warning away. i WANTED to know.
The answer that he said was..........................

Then I just whacked him with my drink bottle lol!

Poor Ian... thats what you get for giving me a religious answer to solve problems.
Then he preceeded with a scenario with God, to "back up" his answer:
If God told him (though a sign?) to stop studying to be a lawyer for the UN- his dream- and change to be a social worker, Ian would do so.
Simple as that.
Why?
Well if God created this dream for him to be a lawyer, then He could easily take it away and change Ian's dream to another- to be a social worker.
....
HM.
I reckon people that depend on a god for answers/resorting to God, explaining their problems.. are weaker than those that dont have a god. Not that having a god is a bad thing, just not total reliance on Him (that may or may not exist) for answers. Can He really give me a sign? How do i know it is a sign from Him? Why should i follow Him and what happens if i dont? Will i be damned after i die? Is there REALLY life afer death?

You would have a "break" from studying, get paid and have the work experience... with DISNEY! :O
I mean just the thought of working for Disney...is..wow.. Compared to aiesec... Hmm.

Post Grad Awesomeness!
Attended a special sermon held at Tabernacle Church tonight.
Ive only been to 2 churches in my life. One at Elim where my family and I attended a wedding ceremony and the PCBC where i hang out with Gina, Sylvia and the rest of the youth group on Saturday nights.
This sermon was 2 hours long. Found the topic "不再旁觀，各盡其職" not so easy to focus on... My eyes kinda glazed past the pastor talking and noticed that there were a giant organ player behind him, hidden by a white cloth. The height of the pipes mustve been at least 10m high, higher than the balcony seats on the second floor.
- I WANT TO GO ON THE BALCONY SEATS -
Never seen an giant organ player before (well, in cartoons yes.. Beauty and the Beast Winter Special! XD ). Wished they played it along with the church choir.. ahh.. would've been epic..? Can imagine Sepheroth's theme One Winged Angel in my head lolll.
Church choir.. good singing...
Noticed a lady that had a funny hairstyle. I wasn't laughing at her but then Ricky who was sitting next to me, pointed it out.... And then I couldn't concentrate on the choir singing anymore...
I kept looking at her.
At. Her. Hair... which resembled those styled during the 70s. A mushroomy bob with hairsprayed flicks. Like Velma's hairstyle from Scooby Doo, except with more curling flicks. hehe!
I smiled... I grinned.. a loud gasp of air and muffled laughter followed..
I was SO close to bursting out LOLing!! Ricky just whispered "hey calm down." which made me want to laugh out more!! arghhh!! Had to inhale a couple of times to stop myself from doing so- T.G the singing covered my gasping- LOL.
Then there was a long pause in the choir singing, i thought it was a pause (or an awkward silence) and i was actually hoping that they would continue the singing after the pause, but unfortunately it was THE END.

I really want to see Ricky play BB, hoping to learn something from BB Master sensei haha~ Ricky seeing me "burning" with "hate" and "determination", suggested we should head off to use the computers at uni after the sermon.
I thought he was joking... he wasn't??? But when i said "OK LETS GO!" he looked at me as if /I/ was joking. O_O"""

Last 5 Weeks of Church.
August 14th 2010. Youth Group.
The most emotional sermon ever.
Matthew Chan Pastor. His ironies with his father/ bitter relationship.
Long but interesing.
Brought people to tears. Gina and Alexis, next to me were crying.
During that quiet moment where everyone in the room was clasping their hands, eyes closed, head down in prayer, my eyes started to tear up when I heard Gina start sniffing and inhaling.
Jarred, on the other side, didnt.
~ Got home and opened the present given by Gina. It was a Bible, and it looks so cool!!!
Had the swirly designer like patterns of vines and butterflies, in purple colour. More suprises when i opened the cute Bible, some Christian quote cards, and a letter.
So sweet Gina!! :D
~ Liking these 2 Christian songs:
Heart of Worship (sung by Matt Redman) and Lead Me Lord (Gary Valenciano).

Also several weeks ago, Angela gave me a book. It was called "?????????????"
Will read it... hopefully.. after my assignments finish.

~ Didn't go to PCBC Camp Reunion, nor the usual saturday meeting. :(
Stupid assignments. and stupid me for procrastinating so much. :(

I remember I got annoyed at P last Tuesday.
It was really stupid of me to do so, and I guess I do have short temper.
"teenage angst" lol.
But listening to music afterwards... just makes me feel all mellow and relaxed again.
ahh.. :))
C'mon! He has 5 papers to do this semester and on top of that, aiesec work.
So i felt very selfish in calling him that name..T.G he doesn't know. =.="
I asked Gina about the aiesec workload and how was she coping, and she was like "Dont mention it..."...haha...=="

Btw everytime i see "AIESEC"... i get a mental "hit".. a reminder, of the embarassment i felt earlier..?

My Secret Smiles, Highs and Minor Mind Blanks. :)
Ive been secretly smiling the whole day. :)

~ This morning: cute little papillion i saw hurrying on its short little legs, occasionally grinning up at it's owner. XDD
~ Drank a large cup of Mo-Mo-Mo-Mo MoccachinO! (probably that's why i've been on a slight sugar high)
~ Hangout with Abby.
- with the Mo-Mo-Mo-Mo MOCCACHINO little jingle (rip off from GEE by SNSD)
- retelling stories of what happened on Tues. (later)
- random lady heard me and asked what the words "skux" and "skee" meant. I remember how i first found out the meaning "skee"...omg lol! == ah nostalgia... X)
- the story of how i bumped into Nashi Ape at the AV library yesterday. Mm.
Same messy ("electrified" according to Abby) hair, black jacket, in torn(?) jeans and converse shoes.... Anyway, J.J and i were lining up behind him, when he finally turned around, i didn't look at him. Eventually, I had to look away because i had this stupid smile that had crept up onto my face.

I could almost feel the "sparks flying" between us even though my back was to him. >>> OLD FLAME SHOULD DIE.

~ Saw something cute on FB recently. I like how the lights light up his face..so that on one side it is "warm" and the other side it is " cold". There's also a little, almost secret, smile on his face, which creates an image of sadness(?) on him...(don't know why but makes me feel like hugging him..?) Then again, it might be his "stoned"-look. ==
~ At my ftvms101 tute. Im glad i have Susanne as my tutor. She knows her stuff and her blunt/funny personality is a crack up! XD

~ Balancing an artbook on my head.. while waiting for the bus. LOL.
When the bus finally came, the twins got on while i was still out (one step away), the bus driver had to move the bus forward to the busstop position, so i hopped onto the bus while it moved. A.P who was next in line, caught up easily while J.C gave a wave to the other people still lining up. haha.

Inception
Watched this movie 2 times in a week. haha.
It's too good! :D
I'm amazed that the director- Christopher Nolan/screenwriters could've thought of the dream within a dream (..within a dream within a dream...>> 5 stage dream!) idea. Wow! :O
Even though there was an "unrealistic" element (i.e. the machine/technology that could link peoples dreams together..doesn't exist), that doesn't matter, during the movie I could imagine something like this happening..
If there was a game based on Inception, I could set out each characters's specialise/traits.
Cobb (Leonardo Di Caprio)= the calm leader, battling with inner conflict.
Arthur (Joseph G.Levitt)= the silent, skilled attacker. Cool. Expert in gadgets?
Ariadne (Ellen Page)= the artistic one, noob but matures.
Saito (Ken Watanabe)= the provider of money, useless one in the group.
Eames (Tom Hardy)= the theif. Loyal. Funny guy.
Yusuf (Dilep Rao)= the mad, but passionate, scientist.
(hm.. after watching the movie two times. I can only remember Ariadne, Mals and Saito's names. O.o)
...
Music is epic! Built up all this drama/action, really engaging.
The orchrestal music was low and loud esp. string quartet and brass instruments repeatedly playing the same melody, building to a crescendo.. if you were watching the movie, you would just know something EPIC will arrive soon!
Like every moment, the music is sooo heavy and epic?! :O
Ahaha I dont know any other word to describe it. My music knowledge is dying hoho. (Btw Christopher Nolan's movies all have similar /epic/ music running through them. I.e Batman/Dark knight/Prestige) XD

Notable Scenes/ Notes:
~ Slowmo scenes. E.g when the van was falling down. Had a LOT of scenes focusing on J.L. lol slowmo, the arms waving around HAHAHA
~ Fighting scene with J.L and the Fisher's mind guards was so cool! J.L would be fighting in one direction and then the next he would drop down to the side (shift of gravity), fight, and then tumble over to the ceiling etc. The fight scenes were flowing well so it looked as if J.L was free falling/fighting in all directions... I wonder how they made it? (what if they went to space to film it?!! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!)
The fighting scene here was probably my favourite action moment out of the whole film.
~ o! in Ariadne's dream. (the world folding on itself.. Walking "sideways".)
~ the children/ flowing curtains scene. Those were scary! We always see behind the children...and those curtains flapping.. next to a pitch black open window.. Doesn't sound scary but it gave me (and a friend) the shivers. As if everytime i saw those 2 things, i expected Mal to come creeping/slinking in and kill someone.. O.O!! (scary knife scenes too)
~ I like Ariadne's totem. It's a gold bishop! I wonder why she chose the bishop..and not the queen? Maybe there are some meanings behind a bishop that relate back to her.
~ The whole concept of Inception/ Extraction.. again..how they were explaining to Saito/ the big "plan" (which involved 5 stage dreams) is confusing.. but i think i understand most of it now.
~ extra: according to P's friend, he/she thought that Cobb was still in limbo near the end of the movie (airport scene), because everyone was looking at him..? That's not true. The second time I watched the movie, I was focusing hard out on the faces of randoms and no one, except Cobb's friends, were looking/ staring back at him. So I don't think he was stuck in limbo. GOOD.

Doesn't everything we believe is from what we perceive?
Then... If several people were in the same dream, things could choose to appear differently to each other.
Cobb wasn't the architect in Yusef's dream (stage1) but he unconsciously added a freight train into the dream.
He changed the dream.
So, during battle scenes, why can't someone imagine a shield or easier imagine a building crushing the mind guards to death..? Mwahahaha
Oooo wait, if someone changes a dream too much than they get noticed...get /stared/ at...Loll
--I'm not sure what I'm trying to get out of this question.. If I think too much, I might get lost in limbo land. =.=

I remember when I first saw the trailer in cinemas, all that dramatic music, people in the cinema were laughing out loud. I did too.
But this movie is seriously brilliant!
If there's a sequel, I'm definitely watching it!!! XD

Raddy's Farewell Party (and A Problem).
It was nice to meet up with Raddy, Ushi, Izzy, Michelle and Richard and also Tiffany, Mindy, Joanna, and Heiman. :)
We watched Inception and then had dinner at Rockfire. (Biggest burgers i've ever seen! Ive also improved eating a burger now.. the last time I was at Rockfire, I was using my hands to eat. But now im using cutlery.. >>CUTLERY to eat a BURGER. haha XO)
This will be the last day I will see Raddy till she leaves to go to Uni in Texas, Austin. Then I dunno when she'll come and visit us again.
Maybe when she has her summer holidays?

The Problem.
Well... I have no idea why everytime i'm with this group of friends i have on my worst social behaviour!
Ushi and Izzy are great talkers. Yes I shouldve joined in. But they were sitting in a bunch and i really couldn't be bothered joining in.
Occassionally there would be laugher and I would sit around and have a blank smile on my face. Having no idea what they were laughing at. ==
What they were saying was funny(?), but I didnt have the energy to laugh. It's not them, it's me. They have all this /energy/... and lol I was sitting opposite to M&R (a.k.a the couple) so I was trying to look anywhere but them. It's ehhhh... embarassing? when i see them cuddling around.. <.<"
After a while, we (me and M &R ) talked and they agreed we were the quiet ones. The /normal/ ones (maybe the boring ones loll. even the tables had a line that seperated us 3 from the rest of the group! It's a SIGN. But ah hem! i wasn't the one that thought of the "sign"!! R. did!! hahaha)
He even said I should join the group and buy a T-shirt lol.

Raddy came over to my house. We talked for a while.
It really hit me then how sad it is that she's leaving. I asked when she'll come back.. but she didnt give me a straightup answer. We may not be best friends, but everything we did, memories, are coming back. (40hr famine collections for 4years, sleepovers, "shopping", Jingle moments, bike days, her bday parties...just Raddy behaviour!) :(
I wish i hadn't been so anti-social last night, but i think this afternoon i made it up back to her.

We watched Inception and then had dinner at Rockfire. (Biggest burgers i've ever seen! Ive also improved eating a burger now.. the last time I was at Rockfire, I was using my hands to eat. But now im using cutlery.. >>CUTLERY to eat a BURGER. haha XO)
This will be the last day I will see Raddy till she leaves to go to Uni in Texas, Austin. Then I dunno when she'll come and visit us again.

The Problem.
Well... I have no idea why everytime i'm with this group of friends i have on my worst social behaviour!
Ushi and Izzy are great talkers. Yes I shouldve joined in. But they were sitting in a bunch and i really couldn't be bothered joining in.
Occassionally there would be laugher and I would sit around and have a blank smile on my face. Having no idea what they were laughing at. ==
What they were saying was funny(?), but I didnt have the energy to laugh. It's not them, it's me. They have all this /energy/... and lol I was sitting opposite to M&R (a.k.a the couple) so I was trying to look anywhere but them. It's ehhhh... embarassing? when i see them cuddling around.. <.<"
After a while, we (me and M &R ) talked and they agreed we were the quiet ones. The /normal/ ones (maybe the boring ones loll. even the tables had a line that seperated us 3 from the rest of the group! It's a SIGN. But ah hem! i wasn't the one that thought of the "sign"!! R. did!! hahaha)
He even said I should join the group and buy a T-shirt lol.

Friday 2: ASSignment
So...
In the FTVMS101 lecture...
there was a replay of Battle Potemkin, with the mother (who doesn't look like a /mother/) and the little boy that got trodded on...again.

He replied asap. And i found out where he was sitting, and lol i also noticed P.

Met G.L before the screening. I was explaining I couldn't go to K.Rave because of the film screening, plus work on my arthist106 assignment- which I found out it was due next monday! Arrghhh. (Knew this morning on the bus, had a nagging feeling on the back of my mind.. something due in /4/ weeks time? T.G I brought my coursebook and checked when it was due..>>IT IS DUE in /WEEK/ 4. MONDAY. 2PM. sheba!). Also I mentioned to G that I hope to see P again, and G was like "ooooooo..Take it slow" in canton.
?!!! and I replied "okayyyyyyyy" lol!*

The screening: lol KING KONG!!
Love the 1933 version of K.K!! It combines all these drama/cheesy scenes which is soooooo dryyyyyyyyy- But that's alright, I like dry jokes! XD
And during the 1930s, the "jokes" probably wasn't meant to be funny at all.
(...Knowing this makes watching it MORE hilarious HAHAHAHA!)

~ Screaming Ann, and her dialogue parts LOL // her breathy voice sounds similar to Cindy (from S.Ms)?
~ K.K. the CU's of his face, the freaky eyes and that grinning gorilla mouth!

We went sculpture hunting! :D
Sculptures: I knew where the "twins" were and sorta knew where "toa pasifika" was located. But the "Maori Warrior" caught my eye first.
The Maori Warrior was down on lower queens st.
I hate walking in places in the city where im not familiar with, by myself, and esp. at night. (I can't say im bad at directions coz I can probably retrace my steps and wont get lost.) Anyway, t.g P agreed to come along. phew! haha
Moments/notes:
~ Saying my chinese name. brrrrr there was a serious accent problem there. But it sounds so cute when people that don't speak canton attempt to say my name! XD
~ Counting ZUMBA MALE dancers lolllllll (Briefly counted 4.)
~ I think I told him "Do you want to go toilet?" I should have said "Do you need to go toilet?" and should've explained that we might be out later than i expect. Like in case, coz I usually say that to friends.
um actually... I dont think I'll ever say that again!! Not to guys anyway/ What a weird thing to say! =="
~ At one point, when we both noticed the Queens St. sign, I nearly went left, but the right way was RIGHT (according to P and he was right).
If i was by myself i WOULD HAVE gone left! (higher n0. means lower end. vice versa. NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND... idiot.). gamble gamble. Take a risk. Take a risk.

~ Sometime at the last sculpture, I was busy taking photos. After I finished and written down some notes.. I turned around and he. was. gone.
WTF.
I looked around, it was dark, except for a few lamp lights there. I didn't want to walk away in case he came back. So...just me, and this big bright orange tiki face next to me.

I was just about to text him when a couple of seconds later, he reappeared again!

(thinking about it now, I'll probably be able to write a lot more for the tiki face sculpture than the maori warrior one! And after all that searching ==" oh well. good exercise! Taking an alternate route back to campus was fun too.)
I felt bad in asking him to join me (he had an assignment to do too.. OGG closes at 8pm?), but at the same time I'm really glad for his company. :)
I only see him once a week, but i'll treasure the times we'll have.
It might be our last semester together.

Mini Bday Celebration
Who: Gina, Yolanda, Sylvia, Leo and me.
When: 12-1pm
Where: Quad
I had a plan.
Organise a cake to be made for Gina (thanks to Yolanda~~ ^^), and we'll celebrate together!
But.
Omg I mucked up the times Gina would be free... All i remember that afternoon was that I was juggling time between texting Yo. and Sylvia where to meet.. First OGG then quad. Then back to OGG. Then Quad. AND then FINALLY back to OGG!!
I was also trying to finish writing the bday card/ftvms tute sheet while trying to eat fish and chips... might've smeared some on the card too...=="
Lol it may not seema lot of things to do at once but im kinda a slow texter, need to think a long time to write a decent loving bday card (memories.. THINK THINK) and overall trying to make the "mini celebration" a success.
(I remebered when i got Gina's reply that she'll be free at 1pm /not 12/, I was thinking "Yes!! An extra hour to work with.." lol!!)
So the plan should look like this:
Who: Gina, Sylvia, Yolanda, Me.
When: 1pm-2pm
Where: OGG, 3rd level.
Turns out Leo lied in coming... "C you tomorrow!" on FB< LIAR!!
Sylvia and me were hardout trying to think about what to write on our cards.
and lolll no one bought napkins/forks/knife... so ah hem... ahem...Sylvia and me... walked casually into Spicers and ah hem.. hem,. grabbed some forks (wow so high quality plastic!) and knives (wooden!) and walked caually out again. No one suspected us of anything... >:)
Later on, when Gina arrived... we found out we needed napkins...
SO... Sylvia and me walked casually into Spicers again.. and grabbed a whole lot of napkins!! And walked out again lol.
I felt guilty but LOL turns out G. told me her little story in canton: "When i need napkins I go to this place *hand swiping motions* and get some. And when i feel like going into this place then i go in and *hand swiping motions again* hehe!"
I dont feel so bad then... it really is a good idea!!
(note: If you dont buy any food at that place in quad. It cost 20c to get a fork!)
Extra:
~ To the close friends I've told what happened that day... They thought I shouldve done what I've thought I shouldve done! (Sweet.. But at that time I had a mind blank and must've ignored him.. and kept on walking.. OuCH.)
As I was retelling my story, I mustve been grinning/smiling alot cause they said I was in a "發姣" state.. Loll...
~According to Yo. If a guy says their hands are cold.. they're gay?!! WTF.
But I agree that guys that always say "OMG" and "la" are gay. It sounds GAY. LOL.
(just think about those gay guys that always say "OMg' on reality TV shows. Usually on fashion shows.== Gay, but brilliant, designers...:D)

Cemetary Visit
I never expected to go to the cemetary as part of uni work.
It's for ArtHistory106: Antique since Antiquity: Images and Ideas.
It was a nice day. Bit cloudy and wet, but overall a nice day.
During the visit, I felt the urge to text my friends that I was at the cemetary.
They texted back:
"What?!!!"/ "What are you doing there?!!"/ "Say What?"/ "Wat cemetary?" etc.etc.
The other common result was: "Wrong person I think"/ "Not meant for me?"
Random ones:
"Tell ***** she wont beat me. Thx."
and
"Hi adrianna. Thats good to know. Do you want me to come?"
(LOL!)
...
We were examining this gravestone with an angel, and the tutor was reading who died.. "Here lies John Smith..."
> A girl snorted at the sound of the name.
huh... funny.
...
At first the visit was fun, but then I noticed the people died really young.. like 6 weeks or several days. More like toddlers/babies.
So sad!!
What's even more sad is that I didnt bring my camera...
so i have to go to the cemetary again!!
That is a scary thought... examining gravestones...
....all by myself...

- 3rd Aug. Went to the cemetary again... this time with friends! I AMBUSHed them though, cause they didnt know why I was meeting them for...(meet at Subway was the text, innocent enough right?)
The trip was even more scary the second time... I had to find symbols to analyse for my arthist 2nd assignment, and I couldnt help but also read who/when passed away...O.O
Plus the weather was gloomy and rainy. BRRRRR!!!

~Passed away instead of "died"
